We pray in thanksgiving for the successful meetings of the delegation of Indigenous representatives when they visited with Pope Francis March 28 to April 1, 2022 in Rome. During the final audience on April 1, 2022 , the Holy Father apologized for the harm endured by the Indigenous peoples and promised a visit to Canada. The trip to Rome by the delegation, and the meetings with the Holy Father, represents a significant moment in the ongoing journey of healing and reconciliation.
