- Two changes in Staff at the Parish:
- Hanook, our caretaker and maintenance man, has resigned from his position in the Parish effective September 20. We thank Hanook for his dedicated work and his contribution to the life of our Parish and we wish him well in the future. If you know of someone who would like a half-time position as a caretaker/maintenance person, please have them contact the Parish Office.
- Sr. Cindy Lewans has accepted to be a part-time Pastoral Associate – Faith Formation person in the Parish. Sr. Cindy will work with families preparing to celebrate Baptism and Confirmation. As well, Sr. Cindy will be responsible for the program formerly known as the RCIA but now referred to as the OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults). People who want to join the Roman Catholic Church usually take part in this program.
- Fr. Doug will be away in Ottawa for Oblate meetings from Sunday, September 8 until Wednesday night. Special thanks to Fr. Kleiter for celebrating Mass with us.
- On Friday, September 13, there will be no Mass at 8:30 am. The staff and students from St. Philip School will celebrate their opening school Mass here in the Parish at 9:30 am. All are welcome to join in this joyful event!
