Donations for the Friendship Inn, the Food Bank, and the Bridge on 20th

The Food Bank, the Friendship Inn, and the Bridge on 20th are requesting our assistance.

During the pandemic, St. Philip Neri Parish along with the Oblates and Oblate Associates have continued to support the Bridge on 20th.   Because the Bridge is no longer open to serve supper meals, we have changed our assistance to support their greatest needs. Right now these needs are mainly toiletries. Specifically they are requesting toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, 2 in 1 shampoo, and ladies socks.  Beginning Wednesday May 20th , we will begin collecting these for the Bridge on 20th. Please put your donations in the box in the entry of the church.

We are still collecting items for the Friendship Inn and the Food Bank.  We invite you to bring non-perishable items to the Church as well – canned goods (vegetables, soups, stew meat), pancake mix and syrup, peanut butter and jams, coffee and tea, dry goods (pasta, rice, cereals), paper lunch bags (the Friendship Inn is only offering bagged lunches for pick up at this time).

  • The St. Philip Neri Parish front door will be open Monday – Friday (9 am – 4 pm) during weekdays.
  • Please observe the protocol for safe gatherings – one at a time inside … but do take time to greet and visit.
  • PLEASE NOTE: copies of “Our Daily Bread”  and other materials are available for your daily meditations. Take one for yourself, your children, or your neighbours.blank

Our Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic

Firstly, on behalf of the staff and myself, we hope that you are making deliberate choices to protect your own health and the health of all those around you.  Even though we are not able to gather in community, we can still connect with one another in prayer and support, always attentive to each other's needs.
