Communion is the third sacrament a child will receive, after Baptism and Reconciliation.  Communion allows a child to participate more deeply in the Catholic liturgy in that they can receive the Body and Blood of Jesus in the form of bread.

In order to receive First Communion both the child and caregivers are required to attend four preparation sessions.  The next sessons are held on March 30,  April 6, and April 27 right after the Sunday, 10 am Mass inside the church and April 30 at 6.30 pm. in the church. Each session is about 50 minutes long. Parent(s) are expected to stay with their child for the sessions. Attendance at the Mass is important.

Celebration of First Communion  will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at the 5 pm. Mass and on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at the 10 am. Mass.
